New announcement from System of a Down: 2020 European Tour Confirmed
Why did you put the keys on the table? You want to? Well, it is time to pick them up, because the system of a down flag has risen and they are back in action. system of a down tour 2020 : European is now official. Yes, It’s official! The system of a down tour 2020 is happening and it start in 2020. For now, only one date has been announced: a first concert at the Provinssi festival on June 25th.
While the year 2019 marked the 25th anniversary of System of a Down, the group has just confirmed some pretty good news: an European tour for 2020. Needless to say, we are now looking forward to it more than any other music concert.
The last studio album from System of a Down (“Mezmerize / Hypnotize”) goes back almost 15 years. An eternity that has not prevented the group to perform on all the part of the world, In front of an audience as numerous as it has ever been. An audience that should also be present next year as well.
Years ago, when a system of a down was disbanded, it made their fans distraught, however, in July 2018, they came back and rumors were quickly spread about an upcoming album:
It had not been the only time, new album projects had been more than evoked in 2017, but they fell by the wayside. Daron Malakian, meanwhile, has formed his parallel band, Scars on Broadway. The album “Dictator” from Scars on Broadway was a hit.
And when the fans finally mopped up their grief, two other members of System of a Down announced their collaboration on new songs. “Beautiful song ideas come from a very good composer,” wrote drummer John Dolmayan and bassist Shavo Odadjian, “stay tuned”.
In the process, Daron Malakian gave an interview to Kerrang! which made a lot of ink, talking about “artistic differences within the group”. He talks about the fact that Serj Tankian already did not want to continue at the time of the albums “Mezmerize” and “Hypnotize” in 2005.
All this is of the past now, the tour is already confirmed, however, we still hope that Serj Tankian and his friends keep their promise of 2016 and finally release their sixth album. With luck, this tour may be the trigger that Daron Malakian, Serj Tankian, Shavo Odadjian, and John Dolmayan need to get started.
