What sets you apart from other music artists?
I set myself apart from other artists by maintaining a kind confidence that I never have to apologize for. You only live once, so it’s important to do it with no regrets.
How would you describe your style of music?
I don’t have a main style of music, I just vibe with a beat that I like and usually freestyle whole songs.
How’s your 2020 going? Are you working on any new album?
2020…. Man. It’s been interesting. Work wise I have been able to get a lot done. I’m excited for concerts to open up cause I want to go out there and start performing my songs, you know?
Tell us about the inspirations for your track “After All”?
I was in a really bad relationship throughout College and I should have left the guy but I keptgiving him chances. After all is a reverse look at that relationship. I kind of imagine the guy singing it to me and my ass just going back to him and continuing that toxicity that was us. It’s just an apology that I heard over and over that I made into a song.
What are three things you hope to accomplish in your lifetime?
I really want to build a huge home for all my family. I grew up in a small apartment with a largefamily and I moved a lot too so looking back I always wanted just one big place where we couldall be close and be a family. And ofcourse, music is really important to me so I want to win some awards for it, you know?Throw me some Billboard awards, some Grammys, some MTW, some BET. I wanna show offand be heard globally.A huge goal of mine has always been to travel, I love going to new places and seeing newthings, so another accomplishment for me would be to be able to visit all the continents andmany, many countries.
Can you give us a sneak peek into your creative process?
It’s really just a little bit of freestyling, daydreaming and reliving good and bad memories tillsomething clicks.
When you’re planning to release your next album? Can you tell us more about the progress?
I’ll say sometime next year. I got something big coming for sure.
Tell something for your fan base?
I love you and thanks for caring about the songs I write.
